Matt is the Chief Broking Officer of Aon’s Cyber Solutions Group part of the E&O/Cyber broking team located in Chicago. In this capacity, Matt is responsible for managing a team of brokers and broking:
- Network Security and Privacy Liability (Cyber)
- Miscellaneous Professional Liability
- Technology Errors and Omissions
- Media Liability
Matt’s direct client work focuses on assisting organizations with identifying, addressing and transferring exposures related to network security, privacy, technology, professional services and media content. He works with a range of organizations in many industry sectors. He focuses particularly on Aon’s Midwest, West coast operations and client base. Matt has deep expertise and a large client base that focuses on miscellaneous professional liability coverage. Matt is a committee member of the Cyber Solutions broking industry vertical that focuses on innovation in transferring healthcare cyber related exposures.
Prior to joining Aon, Matt built a foundation in insurance as a transportation and logistics insurance account executive & broker at Avalon Risk Management. In this role he worked with all lines of insurance for transportation and logistics oriented clients. In January of 2011 Matt transitioned over to Aon.
Matt received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University in 2006.
He is a licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Broker
He is a licensed Surplus Property and Casualty Insurance Broker
He received the Young Guns 2018 award from Insurance Business America
Matt is a member of the 2020 Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Technology Council Advisory Board
